One of my all time favorite pictures, and memories, was this sleeping sea lion. While visiting the Galapagos Islands, there are sea lions EVERYWHERE. But this one's face was so peaceful, innocent and picture perfect, I just had to take it. Just adorable!
In 1997 I bought my first Canon camera and started taking pictures of the wildlife around me. Weekends would find me out with my camera taking pictures of anything that caught my eye, especially the egrets and herons that lived near me. Photography was new to me, but learned along the way on my journey with my new camera. As a self-taught photographer, I am always learning new techniques.
