Artist's Description
The tufted tit mouse is one of my favorite songbirds. We don't see them too often, but when they show up in our backyard feeder, I'm always so thrilled. To me they are just adorable. When I went out to feed the birds, I told them that I would love to take their picture. That same day, this little guy landed on our outside light post and stayed there for about a full minute so I could take some pictures. Usually they don't perch in the open in our yard for that long!
About Laurie Lago Rispoli
In 1997 I bought my first Canon camera and started taking pictures of the wildlife around me. Weekends would find me out with my camera taking pictures of anything that caught my eye, especially the egrets and herons that lived near me. Photography was new to me, but learned along the way on my journey with my new camera. As a self-taught photographer, I am always learning new techniques.
