This widows walk is nestled in the quiet town of Piermont NY in an area known as Bogertown, near the Hudson River. Bogertown was so called for the Dutch settlers, named Bogert, who settled on this little street.
In 1997 I bought my first Canon camera and started taking pictures of the wildlife around me. Weekends would find me out with my camera taking pictures of anything that caught my eye, especially the egrets and herons that lived near me. Photography was new to me, but learned along the way on my journey with my new camera. As a self-taught photographer, I am always learning new techniques.
