While visiting Iceland we stopped for some photos of this thermal activity in Iceland countryside. Iceland is considered the island of Fire and Ice, and you can certainly understand why, when you see smoke coming up out of the ground and snow all around. It is the island of extremes.
In 1997 I bought my first Canon camera and started taking pictures of the wildlife around me. Weekends would find me out with my camera taking pictures of anything that caught my eye, especially the egrets and herons that lived near me. Photography was new to me, but learned along the way on my journey with my new camera. As a self-taught photographer, I am always learning new techniques.
